I grew my Instagram account to 17k followers in under 30 days. I spent less than a minute each day. Here is how I did it.
Some of the highest interact videos on Instagram are memes. They come in all styles and categories. Every single person on the internet regardless of country, age, gender or occupation enjoys a good meme.
As you scroll, make note of viral memes. You want to find something with high engagement (not just likes). It has to be in the industry you are targeting. Mine was generic, so I picked a running dinosaur video.
For example, if you’re in automotive, you want to find something related to cars. Could be a “goofy aah” crash or a mechanic stripping a bolt.
If you’re in construction, it could be a fail or near miss mixed with the “MI BOMBA—” video of the Jamaican guy missing a coconut with his machete.
My first 10 days I uploaded daily. After that I uploaded every other day. Once you hit your first viral video and you get a follower boost, you should upload once per two days. This is to not fatigue your followers and make them unfollow you.
The meme has to
This is a tricky thing to time. I ended my upload streak at 30 days. However you can go longer. If you are building this account to sell, you can go for as long as you want. Just make sure to stop before engagement cliffs.
If this is a business account, you should stop as soon as possible. You don’t want the algorithm hyper focused on this video. Because when you switch, your engagement will nosedive.
It’s now time to sell your account or upload your “normal” content. Remember, your new content has to be engaging and high quality. Otherwise all this work will be for nothing.
